Working full-time, being a full-time student and preparing for your career gives you all the reasons not to start exercising and moreso, not even think of incorporating this into your daily regimen. As a trainer, James provided the attentive listening, patience, understanding and flexibility: qualities that help structure a progressive learning platform. Adhering to exercise is about the little steps and its subsequent joys - it’s the process not the outcome. Why rush to attain a short-term outcome when you can attain a longer-term outcome that is more fulfilling for your life?

In the past 2 years of his guidance, I have grown stronger physically and mentally and its subsequent effects fuel my lifestyle of 40+hours of on-the-go (especially when you are reaching 40). But more importantly, I understand how to balance strength training sessions/cardio sessions with my work/school/life schedule without feeling exhausted and have an improved sense of my overall physical and mental well-being.

GOT STRONGER (DEADLIFTING ALMOST 300LBS NOW), GAINED MUSCLE, LOST BODY FAT, AND IMPROVED HIS RUN TIMES SIGNIFICANTLY

I've been training for close to 3 years with James. I'm a late 40s guy who'd never done bodybuilding of any type before. I wasn't in made shape cardio wise but wasn't very flexible or very strong. James began by teaching me the proper techniques for weightlifting so that I don't hurt myself. For the first few months we worked more on building up flexibility and range of motion than strength building, though I soon began to see results. Once I had the technique down we progressed to more challenging exercises and heavier weights. I'm now lifting weights that I didn't think possible

My initial training sessions with James were in person in Edmonton. I enjoyed working with him so much that I continued to train with him online after he moved to lower mainland. I now consider James a friend and I look forward to our Skype sessions to talk about my training and catch up on life.

I highly recommend James whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced lifter.

I have been very lucky to have James as my personal trainer. 9 months ago I was unable to move my left hip around well because of a previous car accident. Now it's 90% better and I'm able to move freely and without pain. I have also gone from a size 12 to size 6 with no fixed diet, just general recommendations and having James show me how to use my body to get my muscles back and to lose body fat.
